The 12 Palms Recovery Center "Real Recovery" Program
The counselors and specialists at 12 Palms are uniquely positioned to provide empathetic, competent care because our staff is comprised of recovering alcoholics and addicts. We know what it's like to struggle with addiction and we live our daily lives as role models of what a successful ongoing recovery can be.
Unlike other rehab programs, the 12 Palms real recovery enables our clients to secure the tools and resources they need to learn to love life again. Our clients have access to their laptop computers and cell phones as well as business associates and family members. We believe this approach teaches our clients to live a sober lifestyle in the "real" world as opposed to living sober only in rehab.
Personalized Attention, Luxurious Accommodations, Fun Activities
Our recovery center only accepts about 30 clients at a time, assuring all of our recovering family members that they will receive the utmost in personal care. Our multidisciplinary approach includes a pharmacological withdrawal regimen, if necessary, as well as one-to-one treatment, small group therapy sessions and ample time for self-reflection.
Our staff also understands that sober lifestyles don't have to mean boring lifestyles. That is why we offer our clients a diverse array of fun and relaxing activities, such as deep sea fishing, horseback riding, surfing, snorkeling, softball and volleyball. Our clients walk on the ocean beach, sit on our dock and read and sunbathe by our large on-property pool.
When it comes time to retire for the evening our clients unwind in well-appointed private and semi-private rooms with private bathrooms. Chef-prepared meals, lush grounds and a plantation-style atmosphere complete the 12 Palms real recovery experience.
